Our Happy Hounds Organic Biscuit Bakery™ opened in 2005 when Debbie Russell (mother of many pets) read an ingredient label on a bag of generic dog biscuits. She couldn't understand the reasoning behind the preservatives & additives, so she began baking homemade organic treats and biscuits for her dogs. Her dogs thrived! She shared the treats with some friends, who "begged" for more... Debbie began selling and gifting her doggie treats to clients through referrals and requests. She asked her enterprising friend, Krista Harrison (another mother of many pets) to join her in early 2007, thus creating the official "Our Happy Hounds Organic Biscuit Bakery™". Now, it is 2008 and we have a new name! We are now called "Our Healthy Hounds Organic Biscuit Bakery". We are still the same in everyway - just a new name. Our labels are still in transition! We hope you and your animals enjoy our products. All of our recipes have been tested and are created in our own kitchens with Organic natural ingredients, such as natural Organic barley and oat flour, Organic natural peanut butter, Organic Pacific Northwest honey, Organic bananas, Organic golden flax seeds and all-natural broth (we make our own). No corn or wheat is added to our products. We add no salt or artificial flavors. No antibiotics, hormones or byproducts! We have quite a farm here between our two families (5 dogs, 5 cats, a tortoise, a rabbit, 3 hamsters, 6 fish and a chinese water dragon - sadly Lily, passed but we are now raising Praying Mantis'). Rest assured that we know animals! Your animals deserve the finest ingredients, and so do you. All of our treats are wholesome, nutritious and delicious. Bone Appetite! |
